Bookmarks!

Talk about handy! How about these bookmarks? These are handy helpers that both show the true colors of Stampin' Up's 2009-2010 In Color Classic Inks, AND they hold your place in your favorite book! What could be better than that?
These were not my idea, and I do appreciate it, but sadly can't remember who's idea it was! :( I used my laminator to make the bookmarks a little more sturdy, and added tassels that I had here.

I received the first box of SaleABration stuff today!!! Whoo Hoo! Sadly nothing in this box is for me....but mine is due to arrive tomorrow!

I just thought the warning was cute, and wanted to share!

Tart And Tangy Post it Note Holders

My friend and fellow Stampin Up Demonstrator Nancy Rose once sent me a holder very similar to this one, and I KNEW I wanted to try one myself! I believe she said she made them in a class with her Upline, but don't know who made them originally. I updated the colors to be current Stampin Up and made these cuties! These are going to be for my Stampin' Up club members for this month. I used Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie and Whisper White cardstock, the ribbons are of the same colors, and the inks are Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie, Summer Sun and Basic Black. The orange wedges are stamped first in Versamark and then in Pumpkin Pie Classic Ink. Then I added Iridescent Ice Embossing powder and heated it with my embossing gun. I used the SUPER CUTE "Tart and Tangy" stamp set, and the saying is from "Teeny Tiny Wishes". The rings I picked up at my local office supply store. Aren't' they cute?

Haitian Disaster Reflief

On January 12, 2010, a magnitude 7.0 Earthquake struck Haiti leaving in it's wake such devastation that the Haitian people can only hope and pray for outside assistance to cope with daily life. As a Stampin' Up customer, you can do your part in helping the Haitian people.From now until February 28, 2010, Stampin' Up will donate $2 from every I {heart} Hearts stamp set that is purchased. This money will be donated to the American Red Cross' Haitian Relief and Development fund. This money will be used to provide immediate, as well as long-term support for the Haitian people.
