Working hard on stocking up for Craft Sales!

Here's another new project I have been working on! I found the directions online for these at Skip to my Lou. Here is the outside, all folded up: And the inside! Crayons and a book to color in!

And a view from the back!

I am working on ideas for boys now. Cameron and I sat and brainstormed some ideas for "appliques" for the front.

These are made from felt!! I drew the flower by hand, but I think it came out cute. Stay tuned for more of these cute cases to come!!!!

Lat Minute Teacher's gifts

So I realized on Thursday evening at about 6 PM that I forgot to make teacher's gifts for the kids to take to school on Friday Morning!!! I was sick and not feeling very creative, so I asked the kids what they thought of Monogrammed note cards. They both agreed they thought the teachers would like them. I worked on them until about 10:30 when I just couldn't stand being sick any more, then I got up Friday morning and finished them. The "B" ones I was working on 5 minutes after I should have let for work, so I didn't have time for the scalloped edge. These were for one of my daughter's all time favorite teachers. Her First grade teacher (she was in 3rd grade this year) "Mrs. B": These were for my son's teacher "Miss C"

And for my daughter's teacher this year "Mrs K":

Each teacher got a set of 6 matching cards/envelopes and a matching pen (I omitted the ribbons on the pens, not sure how I felt about them). The kids also picked out a Key Fob Wristlet for each of the teachers based on the teacher's favorite colors.

Oh those Girl Scouts!

I usually have some munchies at my Card Clubs, and back during cookie selling time, I was setting up for the night and realized I didn't have any snacks! Luckily I did have cases of cookies! So I pulled out a few boxes and put them onto a platter. As I was standing waiting for my stampers, I look down and see this:

Upon closer inspection you will see that Girl Scouts agree with my motto "Create"!

LOL These are on the Shout Out cookies, which won't be for sale any more. (Much to my son's dismay!)

If you'd like to see the supply list for this catalog it can be found here.

Just wait until you see the newest InColor Colors!!! Gumball Green, Midnight Muse, Primrose Petals, Raspberry Ripple, and Summer Starfruit! (Of course the colors here are not the ACTUAL colors, Just wanted to give you an idea of what color they are!)

There are lots of new items in the catalog, as well as some of your old favorites. Oh and.....wait until you get a load of the new stamp pads!!! Stampin' Up now sells the firm foam ink pads! Here is some more info on the new style:

  • Provide better ink coverage for your stamps!

  • Light-tap stamping produces flawless images!

  • In addition, our new Stampin’ Pads create wonderfully solid images. The Firm Foam releases more ink onto your rubber stamp than the felt pads. When using the Firm Foam pad, your stamp will get an even, solid covering of ink that you may not have been able to achieve with the felt pads. Please note: if you are using the ink pad frequently you may need to re-ink your Firm Foam pad more often.

  • Have a crisply printed, glossy label on the top of the pad that is easier to read and that will not fade or chip off!

  • The new pads come with color name labels in all four languages (English, Spanish, French, and German)--just choose your language, peel the sticker off of the back, and add it to the side of the pad for easy identification!

  • Use the same patented flip-top case design that stores the inking surface upside down, so the pad surface stays moist!

  • Are available in all colors, including our exclusive In Colors!

Don't delay! Ask for your new catalog today!!!
