Welcome everyone to the first blog hop hosted by the
Cricut Card Fairies this year! We hope you enjoy your time checking out some of the fairies awesome work, and maybe even winning prizes for joining!
The
Cricut Card Fairies were created by Commander Crystal, who found inspiration from the already existent Cards for Soldiers. The Card Fairies accept requests for people and families who may need a pick me up for any sort of reasons. We are a group of VOLUNTEERS who love our making cards, and love spreading cheer through said cards. We have sent all over the United States, Canada, Australia, and even Germany and other parts of Europe. We send all types of cards: birthday, good thoughts, sympathy, well wishes, get better soon, and so many more. We currently have sent out over 860 missions since 2008! Those who may be interested in joining our wonderful group can send an email to :

The theme for this swap is Valentine's or red/white/pink. I kind of went with both! I have a private class coming up soon, and this is what I came up with as a sample. This is going to be a framed art piece. Now I will say that we made changes for her finished sample, and I took this apart as we made changes to make a new one, so this is the only picture I have. I took it with my cell phone, so hopefully it comes out clear. It features "the Season of Friendship" (111776) stamp set, the hearts are punched out with the small heart punch (117193), Pinking hearts border punch (117649), Real Red
cardstock, Pretty in Pink
cardstock and Real Red 1/4" grosgrain ribbon. The ink colors are all Classic Inks, in Real Red, Chocolate Chip, and Pretty In Pink. You can't see it that well in the photo, but the large piece of Pretty in Pink is embossed with Stampin' Up's texturz plates (Background 1- 114512). The white mat is just one I picked up at a store. I
didn't frame it as I
didn't have a frame on hand, but just wanted to get an idea how it would look.

If you wanted to make it a card, you could change the size and omit the mat.
Hope you enjoyed this project. Thanks for hopping by!
And now onto your next stop, Sheila @
