PhillyInkers swap- version 2

PhillyInkers swap - Version 1
This is one version for my swap for the upcoming PhillyInkers swap. I used the Just Believe set from Stampin' Up. The sun is done by cutting a circle frame in a Postit note and then using sponges to apply Daffodil Delight and a little Pumpkin Pie. The embossed piece I used my Square Lattice embossing folder, then I used my brayer to run Old Olive ink over the piece. Some places are lighter, while some is darker. I cut the corners with my Ticket Punch. I really like how it turned out. I finished it off with an Old Olive bow.

Items for a Craft Sale-Another Just believe notebook
I actually came up with this notebook trying to cover up a mistake. I was going to throw this one away, and decided to pull out my brayer and play with it a bit. I think it came out quite well! All of the supplies are the same as yesterdays, I just used old olive, daffodil delight, and pumpkin pie to create the layers of the ground and sky with my brayer.

Items for a craft fair-Just Believe Noteboook
I LOVE this set by Stampin' Up! It's the "Just Believe" set found in the new catalog. I earned it free, based on my sales during last years SaleABration. So thank you to all of you who helped me earn it!!!
I played with the set a little bit last night and wasn't quite sure what I was going to do with it. I ended up making this notebook for the sale. I used Soft Suede as the background, and Daffodil Delight. I stamped the image in Old Olive on Naturals White.
You'll be seeing this set a few more times over the next couple of days, so stay tuned!

Items for a Craft Sale - Kiwi Kiss Tic Tac Holders
You may remember that I made some Tic Tac holders last year for a Craft Fair. Well I decided to offer more colors this year since they went over so well. These feature the now retired "Kiwi Kiss" cardstock and Designer Paper. I also used my circle punches, and the also retired "Think Happy Thoughts" stamp set. The ribbon shown is stuff I had (tons of) on hand. The white flowers are stamped in White Craft Ink and then embossed. The rhinestones added just a touch of shine!

Items for a Craft Fair - Purse Gift Card Holder
I got this idea from a fellow Stampin' Up Demonstrator Dawn Griffith. What a cute idea for a girly girl! I used papers from my Hostess Designer Paper Pack that is now retired. I used Old Olive Cardstock (current) as well as Apricot Appeal (Retired). The ribbon is Apricot Appeal (retired) 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon. I used my Circle Punches and Scalloped Circle Punch for the "clasp" and it closes using Velcro. Inside I stamped "Imagine" from the new "World Play" stamp set. The sentiment on the circles is from the "Happy Thoughts" (retired) set. The flap and part that holds the Gift Card is from the "Top Note" die.

Altered Notebook - Different Sentiment
I meant to post this one with the one below, but I forgot to schedule out the post dates! I used the same papers as on the other one, and the "Thoughts and Prayers" set, the only difference is the sentiment, which is from the "Apple Blossoms" Hostess set.

Ok now with all of that said here is what I've made with the set that I choose from Regina. I decided to do non-card items for this hop. I choose ALL ABOUT SCHOOL. It had a lot of great images, and I did choose a few of them to work with. I went in and changed the size of the images before I printed them out. I am sure there is another way to do this, but I wasn't sure how to do it. The yellow circle on the ruler picture/note holder is actually printed on yellow cardstock, where all of the rest is printed on white cardstock and colored with my Marvelous Markers by Stampin' Up. The black gingham ribbon (retired) is also by Stampin' Up. The apple (which I trimmed off the leaf) is a separate image which I colored and added to the sentiment circle. I thought this was a cute idea for a little teacher's gift.
The second thing I made was a cute little pencil holder, using the same ALL ABOUT SCHOOL set. I also used my large SU Star punch as well as the "Seeing Stars" stamp set. I thought this was a cute idea to give that special little one a little gift on their first day of school. Maybe you could slide some sparkly pencils inside? Or maybe some cute pens? It could also be used as a special award from a teacher to a student.
I am working on this post on Wednesday morning (at 2 am) as I will be out of town the weekend of the hop. Therefore I won't be able to make changes if something comes up. If you get lost along the way, check in with Crystal's blog as she will be able to update you.
Ok Hoppers don't forget to leave comments! And continue your hopping with LYNNE!
